What We Have to Offer

General

Hunters can choose to fly to Whitehorse, Yukon and rent a car then drive to our camp or drive directly from the States. Upon inquiry we can supply you with all the details you will need to get with these travel logistics. We put a great deal of time and thought in choosing the hunt camp which you will go, depending on what you are hunting and the seasonal distribution of those animals. We want ALL hunters to do well and have the hunt of a lifetime, so depending on the hunt you may stay in cabins or wall tents on occassion, or on some early hunts a quality mountain tents may be used as well.

If you have a special need please advise us BEFORE the hunt is booked.

You may hunt directly from the camp you fly into or your guide might choose to “spike out” to another camp that he feels offers better potential for success. For those who finish hunting early we have great fishing and game bird hunting at many of our camps, this is included at no charge with all of hunts. Also each hunter can harvest one wolf at no charge, just make sure you have the appropriate licenses if you choose to fish or hunt small game. For those unfamiliar with the Yukon hunting system, there is no draw for tags. All of our hunts come with guaranteed tags for all the animals you wish to hunt. We have quota on some species so booking early is a must to secure your tags!

NOTE*

We do NOT sell “Canned” hunts. These are real mountain hunts with wild animals in huge country. Success of harvest is the goal, but not guaranteed. If you cannot be happy with good food, hardworking guides, solid equipment and some of the most breath-taking scenery there is then this hunt may not be for you.

We love what we do and feel we provide some of the best hunts in the industry year after year. However, things happen in remote place. Weather can play a factor, horses have a mind of their own, boats break down occasionally and sometimes it's just not meant to be. This is a hunt NOT a kill. This happens everywhere and anywhere. Come with a good attitude and I promise we will do what we can to make it great.

To continually provide the Best Quality of Trophies possible we have set guidelines for our staff on which animals may be taken. These are company policy, and we wish to be upfront BEFORE you book any hunt.

You are booking a TROPHY HUNT and this is what we aim to provide. With this in mind, we have set guidelines to follow so that year after year we have the age class needed to make sure your hunt is what you came for.

Dall Sheep to be harvested are 8 years old or older only.

Moose with a greatest width of 50" or larger.

Caribou with 6 top points or 5 on top with a rear point and the maturity and mass that comes with 5+ years of age.

Goats of 9 inches or longer and Males only (typically 5 years old +)

Male Grizzly bears of 7ft +

With this guideline we believe we will have High success year after year and hunters can be confident booking 2-3 years out.

We have had this rule for the guides to follow since the beginning but want to make clear to clients of what we feel sets us apart.
